A little of Marple syrup, caramelized bananas, oh, it’s perfect… But it could be even more perfect. Here the recipe which has a flavor of heaven. This is the mascarpone cream, which is the perfect topping for French toast.
¼ powdered sugar
¼ cup of sugar
1 pot of mascarpone cream ( 500g)
PREPARATION OF THE PERFECT TOPPING FOR FRENCH TOAST
It’s very important to have all your ingredients at room temperature. If ever the eggs are too cold, it will be difficult to have them foaming.
Separate the whites from the yolks.
We will beat the whites until stiff, and for that it’s very important to add the white eggs in a metal bowl.
In the whites, I advise you to add some drops of lemon and a pinch of baking soda, to help you to have a beautiful pick. Start to whisk the whites on minimum for 30 seconds, and after on maximum.
When the eggs are almost done, sparkle ¼ cup of powdered sugar and some extract of vanilla.
If ever you will prefer to use marmalade instead of vanilla, do not add the sugar as the marmalade is sweet enough. The quantity required is around ¼ cup.
In the other bowl where your yolks are, add ¼ cup of sugar. If you decided to go for the marmalade, do not add ¼ cup of sugar, but instead add ¼ of your marmalade. Beat all those ingredients and add the mascarpone cream. You need to whisk it until the cream gets more soft.
Now, it’s time to combine the whites with the mascarpone. For that, use a spatula and make a gentle incorporation.
Your cream is ready, so it’s time to bake your French toast. When they are well caramelized, add the bananas, a little of Marple syrup and the last ingredient is your cream. As the French toasts are warm, the cream is melting slowly on it. It’s absolutely delicious!!!!
