This is one of my favourite recipes: the peach and verbena clafoutis.
The texture, the mix of these two flavours combined, everything is so delicious in this recipe.
Plus it’s so easy to make. Yes, it really is! I like so much baking that I like when it’s very easy to do it. If it’s taking too much time, it’s not fun anymore.
Cooking needs to be fun. Don’t you think? Indeed, in this recipe, you only need a few ingredients, there is absolutely nothing technical, but the result will impress all your friends.
-Ingredients:
-4 peaches or a can of yellow peaches
-4 eggs
-1 cup flour
-1 cup of sugar
-1 cup of milk
-1/2 cup of oil
-Verbena in syrup or leaves (or teabag, or even natural flavour extract) to make an infusion with milk.
Preparation :
You just have to put all the ingredients together and then you mix them: sugar, eggs, oil, milk, flour and verbena.
Then, you could cut your peaches into small pieces that you put in your preparation.
Then, hop, in the oven, which you have previously heated, of course, at 180°C for 45 minutes. The underside just needs to be golden brown and it will be just perfect.
Wait until the clafoutis has cooled down before removing it from the mould.
Et voilà! You have now a fantastic easy recipe that you could make for any situation like for example a french breakfast 🙂 but as well for a brunch, or even for a formal dinner where your guests will be very impressed by your skills!
If you would like me to guide you through the making of this fabulous recipe, it is of course possible. You can write to me first and I will be so happy to answer all your questions that you need to ask me whatever it is don’t be shy.
But if you don’t feel like to do it by yourself and need another kind of guidance, I could as well teach you in a private lesson.
